Alexiel: Angel Sanctuary

Why This Costume:

I felt the need to challenge myself. Alexiel came right on the heels of Kadaj, which had been a challenging costume in its own right. I also really wanted to see if I could do wings.

Things I Did Right:

The modified dress worked well.

Things I Did Wrong:

To be honest, this whole costume feels like a big chunk of fail. The headpiece never stayed on, the corset didn't... corset, the wings were heavy, ridiculously painful, and awkward to maneuver in.

Status:

This costume is in the "to be improved" pile. When I have more time, more money, and more knowledge, I will rebuild this from the dress up. I'm going to strip all the feathers off the wings and re-use them as well.
