Sheena Fujibayashi: Tales of Symphonia

Why This Costume:

I am a huge fan of the Tales series, and Symphonia was one of my favorite installments. I loved all the female characters, but especially Sheena - she's a ninja! How can you not? The costume design looked exceedingly simple, and I needed more female costumes in my wardrobe, so I went for it..

Things I Did Right:

The robe was draped and drafted by hand, with no commercial pattern involved. This is the first garment I've done that with and it turned out beautifully.

Things I Did Wrong:

The only thing about this costume that I'm displeased with is the way the boot covers never stay up (lots of safety pinning is involved with this costume) and also the fact that I didn't print out cards (I used my tarot deck as props for the pictures).

Status:

Still wearable and worn! Although the last time I put it on the wig decided it wasn't going to fit over my head, so we'll see.
